Get Coaching:
Your Complete Story Ecosystem
Suggested Price: $450 per month
Everything you need to write the story only you can tell.
Writing is a lonely journey. You're expected to figure out confusing story structures, craft unforgetable characters, and navigate your own emotional baggage. Oh yeah, and you have to do it all on your lonesome, because your coworker sure doesn’t want to know how the biology of your species mirrors your experience with autism.
What if instead of doing it all alone, you had a complete ecosystem of support?
The Coaching Level combines the Story Tree Process with personalized guidance, creating a holistic experience where your story can truly flourish. You'll get a systematic approach to storytelling AND someone who knows your story intimately.
Your story isn't just random elements cobbled together—it's a living, integrated whole with you at its roots. Through the Story Tree Process, you'll grow your novel organically while getting expert guidance every step of the way.
Perfect for writers who:
Want the direction of an expert-led process with the personalization of one-on-one feedback (How great would it be to have both?)
Are writing from their own questions, identities, or experiences, because you can’t do it any other way
Love worksheets and deep-dive character analysis but also need someone to help them navigate the “What the fuck am I doing?” moments that inevitably arise
Want to understand the “why" behind every story choice so you can know you’re moving in the right direction
Need help to sort through their own shit to find the story they really want to tell
Have tried to finish their book on their own but keep getting derailed
What's included:
Everything in the Community Level, PLUS:
Weekly group coaching calls to get personalized guidance on your bookish questions, big or small
An intimate group of writers who are also writing from their own questions, identities, and experiences
In-depth teaching on character development, plot, series, drafting, and revision so you can write a book you’re proud of
The Story Tree Process, so you can craft your novel without getting lost along the way
Deep-dives on the Enneagram personality system to craft psychologically consistent characters with meaningful growth arcs
Full membership inside our private online group
Opportunity to schedule 1:1 calls with Dani and to get even more focused attention on your book
What you'll experience:
Story Partner - No need to explain your story from scratch each time, I’ll know the intricate details of your world, characters, and vision
Real Solutions - Work through your specific challenges with someone who understands how story works and how your story works
Confidence in Your Craft - Get reassurance that your character arc works, your pacing is good, and, yes, your description of a Space Spider that communicates through plasma glitter makes perfect sense
Customized Path Forward - End each call knowing exactly what do to next
Time to Process - Talk through the fear of your grandma reading your sex scenes, your confusion about representation, and the realization that if you want to finish your book you have to embrace your feminist rage
Connection with Yourself - Understand how your story is shaped by who you are
All the Tools - Geek out on worksheets and spreadsheets designed for each stage of the process

We use a sliding scale because capitalism sucks and everyone deserves the opportunity to be part of our community. Our sliding scale is resistance against oppressive systems and a way to show care for one another.
Here’s the breakdown for each level:
Why a Sliding Scale?
Suggested Price: $50 per month
Sliding Scale: $30 - $70 per month
Community Level
Suggested Price: $450 per month
Sliding Scale: $350 - $550 per month
Coaching Level
When you pay what you can—especially when you can pay more—you're actively creating the world we're all fighting for.
If you're well-resourced: Paying at or above the suggested amount isn't just generosity—it's putting our shared values into practice. You're directly funding a space where BIPOC writers, queer writers, disabled writers, and other marginalized voices can tell their stories without financial barriers. Your investment is literally anti-capitalist action, ensuring that storytelling power isn't reserved for those with wealth.
If you're not well-resourced: Pay what you can sustainably afford. Your story matters, and we want you here. You deserve to be in this community regardless of your financial situation.
No matter what you pay, you get the same access to all features at your chosen level. No one will know what you pay except you.
Here’s the thing: the sliding scale only
works when it's truly a community effort.
I know you see $30 a month and think, "What a deal!" And for those who genuinely need that price point, it absolutely is.
But if you're someone who drops $30 without thinking twice—on dinner, on coffee, on the newest hard cover edition of a book you already own two copies of—then paying the suggested amount (or more) is how you help dismantle the systems that keep marginalized voices out of publishing.
When you pay more, you're not just supporting a writing program:
You're investing in a future where a trans person in rural Texas can afford to join our community.
Where an undocumented writer can access coaching.
Where a disabled writer doesn't have to choose between groceries and getting support for their novel.
This is how we build the world we want to live in—together.
Your extra $20 or $50 or $100 a month becomes someone else's lifeline to craft education, to finishing their book, to being part of a writing community that embraces all parts of them.
This is mutual aid in action. It's recognizing that our liberation is interconnected.
So while you might be someone who scours the internet for the best deal, I'm inviting you to see this as an opportunity to put your money where your values are—to literally fund the revolution, one story at a time.
Stories can change the world, and paying what you're able is how you help ensure we hear the stories that most need telling.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I decide I want to move to a different level of the Mentorship?
No problem! You can change levels at any time. If you’d like to join the Coaching level, we’ll have a chat to make sure it’s going to be helpful during your stage of writing.
What genres are best for the Mentorship?
Any heart-centered, character-driven novel meant to impact readers emotionally. I'm less concerned about genre and more concerned about WHY you're writing. If you want your readers to feel seen or to see others, perfect! If you’re writing memoir, reach out and we’ll chat about what kind of support you’re looking for.
How much feedback will I get on my story?
At the Community Level, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions during the monthly Q&A call. At the Coaching Level, you'll get weekly group coaching calls to get direct feedback from me on your story.
