Your Roadmap to a Finished Book
In these here parts, we do things a little differently.
We focus on self-discovery and self-expression over what the market is doing. We write slow and deep, rather than trying to knock out a book in 90-days. And we honor the needs of our brains and bodies by resting, adjusting, and stepping back when needed.

This 12-month coaching package is designed to work within the timeframe most Rooted Writers take to finish their books: one year to plan and draft, one year to revise.
Comprehensive Story Coaching
Membership in the Rooted Writers Mentorship and Community to get the process, camaraderie, accountability, and ongoing support you need.
Nine 1:1 calls each year so you can understand the nuance of your book, unsnarl story knots, and get the personalized feedback you crave.
One whole-story assessment each year, so you can get the right feedback for your phase of writing:
A Story Tree Assessment to get a thorough analysis of your first draft so you can know where you’re kicking ass, what needs work, and how to revise without overwhelm. Can be used at the beginning of coaching, to evaluate a pre-existing manuscript, or after you’ve completed your first (or next) draft in the Mentorship.
A Manuscript Assessment of your revised book by a Dani-approved coach who’ll evaluate your story with fresh eyes to help you know what to polish so you can publish. Usually used during the second year of coaching.

Idea to Final Draft Support - I’ll be by your side through every step of the writing journey, providing encouragement, direction, and, of course, fangirl-levels of excitement
Positive Pressure - Knowing you’ve got a Story Tree Assessment or Manuscript Assessment on the calendar will keep you motivated to show up for your story
Spacious Accountability - You’ll be able to adapt your writing timeline to the (inevitable) life that will happen without losing focus
Guesswork-Free Feedback - No need to deliberate between a manuscript assessment, developmental edit, or beta read. You’ll get the right kind of feedback at exactly the right time.
